Review of The 13th Warrior (1999) by Remy B — 09 Jun 2010

The 13th Warrior is not the best period piece ever made, but for some reason I really enjoy it. I can see so many flaw in the story, the acting, and the overall premise of the movie but again, something about it draws me in. Antonio Banderas plays an Arab with a Spanish accent (go figure) and there are plot holes the size of Texas but I can't help but enjoy the movie as a whole and I don't even know what it is that I like about it. I know that I'm going to get ripped on for giving this as high a score as I did, but hey; every so often there is that movie that is so bad it's good.

I would recommend this movie to anyone that doesn't pick movies apart, doesn't care if there are unanswered questions, and wants to just sit back and enjoy.
