John McTiernan is one of the best action film director Hollywood has ever had. In this beautiful warrior story set in the 13th century Antonio Banderas takes us on a journey through time, wars, & vikings.
It's wonderfully shot, very well acted & brilliantly done. too bad the studio decided to recut the film to be a PG13 type of entertainment because watching the director's cut of such a film might even be twice more awesome knowing that McTiernan isn't the kind to go soft &easy.
... i'm still waiting that director's cut.... hope.
