Review of That Obscure Object of Desire (1977) by Amy D — 30 Nov 2007
What a great way to end a film career! I loved seeing two actresses play the same role. I also love the subtle messages. So much is going on with the story, and anyone who has played the fool can relate. And of course there are festishes. Freud is all over this movie. Damn, Bunuel is sexy with his compositions.
Absurd! Extreme! Brilliant!
