Review of Tess (1979) by Radek C — 05 Apr 2009
Kinski's alluring performance and beautiful scenery were the only two memorable aspects of the film. Personally I felt, it only underlines the difficult position of women in 19th century plus ridicules the importance of a family name - even if purchased.
A kind of good watch, longish but good anyway.
