Review of Terminator Salvation (2009) by Dyron W — 16 Mar 2015
Aside from some lasps in plot and logic, over-indulgences on classic lines from the previous films, and the deaded PG-13 rating, Terminator Salvation is a very flawed but entertaining installment that's breaks the formula of the last few movies ("hey, let's go back and protect the Connors again") and finally explores the bleak war-torn future, sans plasma guns.
Joseph McNicol's (McG) proves to be a decent director here and knows his way with the visuals and atmosphere of the film. It kinda makes you forgive him for those god-awful Charlie's Angels movies.
Kinda.
