An underrated entry in a franchise that audiences have grown fatigued with, Salvation is truer to the source material than T3 and Genisys and is overlooked. Christian Bale plays John Connor well, but Worthington stole the show as Marcus.
Anton Yelcin, God rest his soul, is great as a young Kyle Reese. I can believe he turns into the hardened soilder from the first film, unlike Jai Courtneyâ(TM)s portrayal 6 years later. Itâ(TM)s not perfect but at least itâ(TM)s a fun film and rewatchable.
