McG ruined this movie and franchise for me. Granted, Terminator 3 was not a good continuation either, but at least it maintained the grit and tongue-in-cheek humor of the first two. The characters are too clean to fit into an apocalyptic world and the future wasteland we expect doesn't seem so bad.
