Review of Ten Canoes (2006) by Pat J — 11 Nov 2007
A masterpiece in the art of tale telling. Mostly shot in B&W, this is a story within a story of love and ambition, and the folly both can bring. It's a slow-burner, but if you let the story take you along there's a lot to keep you interested and the insight into a primitive way of life is fascinating.
Definitely one for a rainy Sunday afternoon.
