Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) by James B — 19 Jan 2015
Honestly, better than I thought it would be, but still groan inducing. While it is amusing at times it's the same joke over and over again. The action is rather confusing, and the turtles themselves have no character other than their basic expected stereotypes.
I'm not a fan of tying the origin story into April's history -- nor of Megan Fox in that role. For the love of pete, she rarely is off screen! Still, it doesn't overstay it's welcome, and I was reasonably entertained.
Shredder has NO character beyond menacing blade machine. The first half is better than the second, which is standard action schlock -- at least the first half TRIES to be an origin story.
