Gleefully mocking America's self-importance, the emptiness of celebrity activism, politically destructive and self-serving "policing" of the middle east, racism and xenophobia, the toothlessness of the UN, etc.

all while satirizing action movie cliches... with marionettes. While it would be misguided to claim that the film endorses either liberals or conservatives, it's certainly interesting to see with side the duo has to resort to using juvenile gags to mock (the dig at Michael Moore amounts to little more than a fat joke which is, admittedly, mildly amusing) and which party is met with substantive, ideological critiques.
