Easily one of the most electrifying and psychologically stirring performance I've seen by De Niro to date. I can see how this is credited as of the best movies of all time. Although it was more of a slow-burn I enjoyed it immensly.
As you see the unraveling of a man's psyche. The ending made my jaw drop too, didn't see things converging in the way that they did and the story was wrapped up in a remarkable way.
