Review of Taxi Driver (1976) by Luis Y — 21 Oct 2013
My favorite film of all time, Taxi Driver feeds off of the phychotic performance by Robert DeNiro, making Travis Bickle the best character study in film history. This is an all time great film. Without this movie there wouldnt be a Walter White or many of the other anti-heroes on television.
The ambigious ending is still one of the best to date. It boggles my mind that I still havent interpreted it and come to a conclusion on what truly happened.
