Refreshingly humorous. McCarthy and Sarandon have great chemistry on screen. It wasn't a comedy like Brides Maids, but had funny parts peppered throughout. The plot also featured a deeper storyline of a woman trying to find happiness through adversity with the help of her grandmother, a roadtrip, a kind stranger, and a wild bunch of lesbians.
