I don't understand why this film gets such low ratings. I really don't, I have seen far worse films that get higher ratings. Tammy is a nice story about a lovely woman called Tammy who has been dealt a shit hand in life; She puts up with a lot of shit from pretty much everybody (Grandma, Mum, Husband, Boss etc) She has just cause to terminate them all in my opinion but she is an eternal optimist throughout the film.

I really don't like the way the word "loser" is thrown about in American society and this is an accusation levelled at Tammy by almost everybody throughout the film. The truth is she is worth ten of each one of them combined.

I really did not agree with the message she received from the "successful" Butch Lesbian "entrepreneur" you should watch it for yourself but I just felt like she came to kick her while she was already down and then she fucked off to light some more fireworks.

I will be very disappointed if this film is not followed up with a sequel which gives us a much happier ending for Tammy. I don't want her to win the lottery or meet a "Hunk" I want to see this "American Dream" bullshit in action, if anyone can make it and it's one's own fault one is a "loser" let us see Tammy make it in her own right.

For example maybe she suddenly she knows what stock to buy and when to sell... because it's not who you know... right? Lets see Tammy land a top job she somehow - but totally incorruptly - knew wasn't been advertised.
