Review of Tales from the Crypt (1972) by Zachary M — 12 Sep 2016
If you're fan of the HBO television series than you've seen most of these stories done in a much better directed and acted way. Comparing the two really does bring the film down. However, there are still little moments of good tension and scares. The stories with no other adaptations to compare them too, make for a better watch and are much more enjoyable.
I will say though, why did the reveal they're in Hell come as such a shock to them in the end when all their stories ended in their deaths? Where's your answer for that Mr. Crypt-keeper?
