Review of Taking Chance (2009) by Stephanie G — 24 May 2009
This is a fantastic film which shows the unseen anguish of families and friends of killed soldiers in Iraq. On seeing the description then I didn't expect to cry as much as I have. It's utterly moving with a lot of heart.
Kevin Bacon played a brilliant part - the fact that it is based on a real soldiers final journey home made this film even more special - Chance Phelps and other soldiers like him will live on through this film.
It was brilliant, I'm still crying whilst I write this.
