Review of Taking Chance (2009) by David R — 21 Feb 2014
A sobering look into the final march. 'Taking' doesn't sell an anti-war message, but it also doesn't glorify war -- it's a touching, true-life look at the reality of the care given to a fallen Marine from the eyes of a senior officer who feels that he, himself, owes more.
The film is well written, acted and shot. It is worth your time, but you will be dabbing your eyes. Besides, who doesn't like Bacon?
