Not a whole lot happens in this film, yet observing the process of returning soldiers killed in action abroad to their families back home is deeply affecting and heart-wrenching. Quite and restrained, Bacon's powerful performance is top-notch, as are the supporting cast.
You feel as if you are right there with mourners. No dry eyes here.
