I feel this sequel should be judged properly when the inevitable 15 Rated Cut arrives on DVD. Fun enough but I wish the film would have had a better filling in between its steady start and brilliantly all out finish, oh and I wish Besson had have convinced Pierre Morel behind the camera again.

Not as bad as you've heard in fact it is rather straight forward fun but not within grenades throwing distance of the first film. Still there are some good Saturday Night matinee thrills to be had here, if you play along, plus Neeson is always brilliant, as is the scoring and a terrific final fight sequence between Alain Figlarz and Neeson.
