Why did Taken need a sequel? Because it made a lot of money. Unfortunately, the director of this movie doesn't seem to know how to film action sequences, since the movie's shaky quick-cut technique gives you a headache instantly.
You can't tell what's going on and this is really the biggest flaw of the movie. The story is dumb too. Revenge is a very generic plot device, but it just seems unnecessary. Also, there's a laugh-out-loud moment in this film that made me cringe.
Liam Neeson instructs his daughter to throw grenades from the roof so that he can determine where she is.
