Review of Take This Waltz (2011) by Antonio A — 03 Nov 2012

Michelle Williams is captivating and the first part of the movie is gripping but the end falls apart with the worn out collages employed by directors who run out of ideas i.e. a day on the town that includes (give me a break) an amusement ride.

Then there is the segment toward the end that includes a series of gratuitous sex scenes with her lover. Director Polley should have taken a lesson from the movie "Once" and ended the movie much more sensibly.

And, to have cut the last twenty minutes of the film would have been a favor to the audience.
