A strange as the plot of this movie is, the LDS "church" is by far stranger in real life... stealing children across state lines, denying fathers the right to even be given a chance to claim their own child before given up for adoption. The LDS cult will help young teen mothers, who they isolate, take off across state lines to deny due process, only to be "adopted", usually through "guardianship" papers they rarely, if ever, notify the other family members, which is required, but they know they can get away with it by denying the fathers the info (or even the family's) of the whereabouts of the mother & baby until the baby is with one of their, often polygamist, families & families that would never otherwise be able to adopt in other states than Utah. Do we really want a cult member for our president?

LDS, weather FLDS or regular LDS, abuse other people to their own end, bankrupted a friend of mine's & I've seen the manipulation & games they play with others' lives 1st hand & all to often 2nd hand as well.

It is a dangerous cult & the "church", who often FAR over-steps their boundaries & should have lost their non-profit status many years ago, still run scams & sadly those who are brainwashed by the "church" don't even realize that what they re doing is wrong.

After having an abusive thief as a caretaker in my family, who took things from the house, then when confronted, had her family members (one of whom she conned out of her out of most of her life savings) bring at least most of the things back, but not all of them. This included household items, laundry & even food, which she said she "kept" from the person she was caring for, at her own home (against the agency's policy). She said to this person she was "doing them a favor" by keeping food away from her, because she didn't know how to even put things away in the home, burned up a vacuum cleaner because she didn't know how to dump dirt out of a vacuum cleaner & her excuse for taking the laundry" seemed to be to have her already slaving mother-in-law do it at their home.

When she was discharged for a number of things, including not showing up for her job, creating a scene at a doctor's office over kids she lost custody of & so on. She saw nothing wrong with not showing up for days at a time, being chronically late & for simply not doing her job, among other things. She would text while driving & even got into an accident while thankfully not "on-duty". She stated that the person she was taking care of was, "Getting in the way" of her getting her things done for her family & blamed this on the person she was supposed to be taking care of!

Her idea of "cleaning" included not changing sheets for at least 2 MONTHS!

She saw nothing wrong with this, then when called on that, tried to change the subject, lied about taking things to her home that was against policy & so on. She was also not to divulge to others that this person was even a client, nor was she to bring others to this person's home, yet she did have them bring most of the laundry back, some of the food, but the juice that was bought was gone.

THEN she had her Mother-in-law call, then she called in a baby-style voice demanding that she have her time-card signed - AFTER she claimed to be "over her hours" when she worked less than 16 hours (actually this is being liberal, especially when the things she brought back to the house where, in part recycling items & things that were supposed to go to Good Will, so she never even did those things! Her husband & mother-in-law brought those things back. She did everything to manipulated this person away from her family as well.

These people see nothing wrong with abusing & neglecting others. They believe it is perfectly normal, as this is how they are raised.

They believe their church is the "ONLY true church". If you really look their "church" history, their entire belief system & church is based on lies, deception & their so-called, "President" of their "church" & "disciples" they believe in wasn't even created by the scam artist, Joseph Smith, who BTW died in prison or jail for scamming people, but Brigham Young, a racist who breeds that into the "religion". He said that those of colored skin are descendants of Cain (The Devil), that according to early church documents cannot make it to heaven & are to be separate from others.

The church also believes women have no voice, no say-so & abuse is encouraged in many LDS churches.

I've watched both "The Order" on Showtime & the pre-release of, "September Dawn". Both are accurate, yet the control extends FAR beyond what either movie showed. The slaughter in September Dawn is sad, but like many cults, they got away with it because they had cult-members in high places... the same way Jeffs of the FLDS went on raping children for so many years before he had many, many children with many wives.

Do we want this Mitt Romney cult member for our president? I should hope not! He'll be "listening to god" as they pit it in the LDS church, which means the LDS church will have absolute control over not only Utah, but the entire country! He'll doing anything the church "prophets" & the church "president" tell him to do.
