Review of I, Tonya (2017) by Patrick M — 22 Oct 2017
Saw this at a film festival and really enjoyed it. It's a vindicating story (sort of) for Harding, who was widely blamed for "The Incident" (as it's referred to in the film) when in fact she had no idea about it until everything came crashing down.
Funny and sympathetic, "I, Tonya" finally gives Harding the chance to separate herself from the debacle caused by her idiot ex-husband and his even more moronic best buddy. Tragic, considering that we get to see how hard Tonya Harding struggled to get to where she got, only to have everything she worked for destroyed by the egos of a few stupid men.
