Review of T2 Trainspotting (2017) by Hunter R — 20 Apr 2017
The first one is still one of my favorite movies of all time, so I was not reallyrushing to see the second as I dont know how it could be better. It wasn't. I do think they all looked better 20 years later and it was nice revisiting drug addict friends again.
Some how the story of aging and second chances just felt too close for comfort so I did not like that. Haha. Music was once again great. By far the best scene is this version's Choose Life monologue.
Very smart and absolutely true to what I feel a lot of the time. The acting was still on point. I just dont like facing I am getting old, so seeing it also in these characters is not a reason why I go to movies.
Escape reality, not face it. :).
