What a film. It is seldom seen when a sequel is on par or even betters itï¿ 1/2(TM)s predecessor but this was simply- on the money. All kinds of brilliant references make an obvious nod to the original film but this sequel is injected with enough excitement and variety that you view it as incredible in its own right.
A classic revenge story on a gritty backdrop of modern Edinburgh. Fantastic at tying up many loose ends for fans, this film offers a brilliant insight into the bounds of friendship and the real onus of mistakes therein.
It is frankly brilliant and was worth the twelve year wait!
