Make absolutely no doubt, none whatsoever, that Trainspotting 2 has been made to satisfy the insatiable desires of those whose lives were crafted by the original. I have no objection to overdosing on nostalgia when it is delivered as brutally as it is by Danny Boyle, and T2 delivers it by the truck load, unapologetically and with enough force to derail the hardest of cynics.
20 years well worth the wait. Thank you Danny Boyle.
