Review of T2 Trainspotting (2017) by Isla B — 23 Nov 2017
I think this film works best for those who saw the original while at a similar age. We identified with the fast, loose, dangerous world as it was then, and now find ourselves bonded with the characters in thinking "where did all the time go?".
As Begby puts it so vividly, "the world changes, the people stay the same".
Fantastic piece of cinema, one of the few sequels that actually works without taking anything away from the original.
