Fascinating exploration of creative anxiety, heartbreaking relationships, medical dysfunction, and bad hair. Funny, original, moving, thought-provoking, but a little long. Ten mintes out of the last 40 would have helped and the VFX were not convincing.
In the end, maybe too dark to be truly great.
