Violent as hell, however none of it appears gratuitous or out of the realm of the story. Conceptually this is brilliant and highly original, to garner sympathy for a cast of murderous characters all equally afflicted and none save the little girl completely innocent, is beautifully accomplished.
I also appreciated the comedic interludes, Without them this movies barrage of murder and gore would be too much.
