Review of Swordfish (2001) by Carlos L — 03 Dec 2010
A good cast but not the best acting. There are some memorable scenes including an explosion near the beginning which will shake the foundations of any cinema, a great car chase and a bus being lifted through LA by a helicopter.
Character development is a little on the short side; we discover that Hugh Jackmanâ(TM)s character takes on the job to fund a life with his daughter who he has been without since being in prison. However, it isnâ(TM)t really explained why John Travolta is hell bent on destroying every terrorist leader he can find.
Worth watching, but it could have been a lot better.
