Review of Swiss Army Man (2016) by Train M — 22 Nov 2016
I expected weird thing out of Swiss Army Man when I saw the trailer, but holy shit I had no idea what was coming. Paul Dano and Danielle Radcliffe star in this bizarre film that is truly impossible to categorize into any genre.
It's got laughs, romance, drama, some stunning action scenes, and a surprisingly large amount of depth. The actors are both great in their roles, especially Radcliffe for what he had to work with.
The film itself is incredibly good looking, and colorful as it is odd. There were so many weird scenes, but it managed to stay as this strangely wonderful film that at its core is about friendship between two people who the world doesn't care about.
Swiss Army Man is essential viewing for anyone looking for something different in their movies.
