Review of Swimming with Sharks (1994) by Vincent B — 11 Sep 2008

Im not in showbuisness, but this seems to be highly overexagerrated. Regardless, that's how you get a point across, and this film did. Kevin Spacey was amazing, possibly his best performance from any film.

Frank Whaley was great most the time, but when he was trying to be sadistic and what not, I wasn't buying it at all. But his nervous wreck was perfect. I loved the ending, very unexpected and a little unrealistic, but it further provides with what the movie was going for; to survive in showbiz, you gotta be a hard ass and a back stabber.

It's all about you and no one else. Very entertaining.
