This movie is amazing, and George Hearn is amazing. Angela Lansbury is beyond amazing, simply incredible. And despite the incredible acting, plot, set and furthermore, it didn't work so well as a movie.
I'm sure the stage production is really good, but filming a stage production simple detached me from the all that it could be. I don't think it worked very well as a movie, but I'm sure it's wonderful on stage.
