Argento, the master of Italian giallos and psychological terror, employs masterfully the use of vivid colors to illustrate what the mind of the spectator perceives unconsciously, even subliminally, by the flawless aura of mystery and darkness created through his camera, which actually achieves a perfectly symmetrical balance in every shot and angle. Seriously, "they don't make them like this anymore".
