Review of Suspiria (1977) by Bob K — 26 Oct 2018
It's kind of remarkable just how unfrightening this movie is. Screaming helpless women are so yesteryear. Adding a room full of razor wire, a vicious but completely fake dog, and various stupid attacks with absurdly fake blood don't help.
The visuals are striking, with inventive lighting and color, and I kind of liked the repetitive score, but there's nothing else really to recommend this, unless you're siteseeing in Munich sometime.
