Review of Suspicion (1941) by K D — 02 Jan 2008
I still think this is one of the most suspenseful films Hitchcock made. Everything up until the final scene had me preparing for the inevitable. I wish Hitchcock would have been able to go through with the original ending, which would have seen a much different fate for Monkeyface.
Nevertheless, the great thing about Hitchcock is you never really know if there will be a happy ending or not.
