Review of Survive Style 5+ (2004) by Kristin P — 23 Mar 2008

This is a wonderfully surreal movie with an excellent visual style to it. The sheer amount of vibrant colors used in so many scenes in this movie, along with some excellent acting and wonderful comedic bits make this a joy to watch. I wasn't entirely sure what I was getting into when I sat down to watch this, but found myself hooked from the moment it started. I even found Vinnie Jones to be quite tolerable here. This film isn't going to be for everyone, but it's certainly one would recommend anyone to view for themselves and see what they think.

Also, it gets some extra points from me for including Cake's cover of "I Will Survive" on the soundtrack.
