Review of Surfwise (2007) by Jeff H — 07 Mar 2010
Excellent documentary. This is not a typical "surfing" film; it's more about the family and how Dorian "Doc" Paskowitz and his wife raised a family of nine children while living on the fringe of contemporary society.
The film is funny and dramatic, especially in the way it reveals how the children grew up and were ultimately effected by Doc's alternative lifestyle choices.
