The film is an instant weird-out for its graphic violence (and, not to mention, Ellen Page raping Rainn Wilson), and though a fair share of its cast are applaudable, its overall performance fails to make up for its ill-fated black comedy approach and mind-boggling mix of negative and positive elements.
