I do actually like some musicals, but I think this particular musical sums up why many people can't stand them. I'm just not sure a group of Scottish soldiers would be this over the top happy and so willing to burst into song about their soppy feelings.
Plus, I'm surprised a musical has been based on the Proclaimers, they've hardly got an endless list of hits loved by the world.
