Review of Sunset Boulevard (1950) by Mark L — 12 Oct 2013
When I mentioned to my grandma I was seeing this, she said, "Oh, how sad!". I admit I did not take her seriously, but she was right. It is truly sad, but not in a tearjerker sense. It is probably the best movie about movies I have seen next to "Singin in the Rain".
Wonderful script, directing, and acting make this movie a masterpiece for the ages.
