Review of Sunrise (1985) by Jonathan R — 14 Jun 2009
A seminal silent film. It is beautiful, breathtaking, moving, funny and charming. The photography is something to behold for the time and the music is expertly used! The scene where she finally accepts him again and they walk across the road arm in arm, staring at each other completely unaware of the cars moving all around them is more touching than just about any moment in modern film.
