Review of Sunrise (1985) by Mark H — 13 Aug 2016
Silent films are always testy to watch with a modern audience. We are so used to sound it is hard to sit through one without it. It wasn't until seeing Sunrise that I could truly appreciate great storytelling in a silent form on film, the film holds you in it's grasp until the very end, and the cinematography captures the time period perfectly.
