Review of Summertime (1955) by Calvin C — 07 Jul 2012
One of the lesser known Deavid Lean films, this postcard from Italy is every bit romantic and beautiful as its location. Katherine Hepburn is at her most vulnerable and feminine as an American and hopeless romantic who falls for an Italian man. The ending is also great.
