Venice has never been captured on screen more beautifully! Katharine Hepburn is in top form in this movie, she is simply luminous and makes the spinsterly character of Jane Hudson a funny, intelligent, complex and heartbreaking one.
Rossano Brazzi was certainly at his handsomest when he made this film.
