Review of Summer Hours (2008) by Mike V — 30 May 2009
This was a sincere slice-of-life movie about good-intentioned people within a family. There were no villains in this movie, just family members who mostly got along with one another as they coped with the issues of a shared inheritance.
There really wasn't much of a story here, in my view, and as much as I appreciated what this movie was trying to accomplish, it just never grabbed me.
