Review of Summer Hours (2008) by F Clark W — 23 Jun 2009
I found this film very engaging. It examines how the world is experienced from one generation to the next, and how it is passed from one generation to the next. It also looks not at the impact of globalization on a family, but rather the globalization OF a family.
The performances are first rate. Barely a false step in the thing.
