Review of Summer Hours (2008) by Joan M — 29 Apr 2010
Slow but not boring, talky but not chatty, and above all, true! A reflection on life, art, family and death. The actors feel true, they resonate and show real feelings, thoughts, and secrets. An outstanding movie that, unfortunately, will be considered too artsy and not fully appreciated, I am afraid.
