Review of Sullivan's Travels (1941) by William F — 01 Nov 2008
"And I'll tell you something else. There's a lot to be said for making people laugh. Did you know that's all some people have? It isn't much, but it's better than nothing in this cockeyed caravan. Boy!".
Sometimes you don't realize how wonderful and blessed you truly are until it's all taken away. This film is a moral tragicomedy, and who better to have shone this simple truth than Preston Sturges? This is beautiful little film.
