Review of Suicide Club (2001) by Eugene K — 11 Mar 2008
Wow...this is a very special film...not only for it's ambiguity and the countless messages it has held for different people but also for it's ability to, as someone else mentioned, take a touchy subject and make a mockery of it.
I used to worship this movie, and I took very seriously the policeman's scene near the end. I cry everytime I watch that scene and listen to his telephone call, and I will most likely always be touched by that scene.
Not as good as strangecircus, but it put sono on the map, and I can understand why.
